Purified Plastics' environmentally sustainable plant is the first in the U.S. to use 100% Recycled Polyethylene Terephalate (RPET) in the manufacture of preforms for use in bottles and packaging, The fully integrated recycling and manufacturing process allows the facility to provide to a high quality product at a competitive price but with a significant differentiation and distinct marketing advantage. Purified Plastics provides those brand owners who supply the consumer market with bottle water, soft drinks, bottled juices, food and drug containers an environmentally sustainable alternative that generates both societal and economic benefits.

Problem
The world needs environmentally sound solutions to reduce the amount of plastics currently treated as trash and increase the percentage of recycling. An estimated 25 billion plastic water bottles are thrown away annually in the U.S., enough to wrap around the Earth over 150 times. |
Solution
Purified Plastic will manufacture, through a proprietary recycling and manufacturing process, both FDA approved preforms as well as purified flake from 100% recycled plastic bottles. With 40 Million pounds of resin production capacity, a single plant is capable of producing on an annual basis 1.3 Billion single bottle preforms. |
Result
The plant's first location is within a 500-mile radius of over 100 million consumers. Future plants will be located in similar population dense locations resulting in a significant impact both in the efficient removal of plastic bottles from regional landfills and the supplying of 100% recycled bottles to the water and beverage industry. |
